Ramdev gets cleanliness from Himachal Government, Patanjali products sold at Ration Depot

Kapoor said that Patanjali is creating hundreds of consumer products and efforts will be made to ensure that the products used in the daily life will be made available to the people through fair price shops.

The Himachal government has become very friendly on Baba Ramdev. Now the products made by Patanjali are sold on the Ration Depot of the state. For this, the state government has started drill. On Friday, Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Kisan Kapoor held a meeting with the officials of the Patanjali Ayurveda limited in Shimla.

He said that in view of the reliability and demand of the people of Patanjali, these products will be made available through the Government Depot. In these products, efforts will be made to make available food items, beverage products, sorbets, spices, home-care, juices, curry items, oils, pulses and syrup to consumers near their doorstep.

Kapoor said that Patanjali is producing hundreds of consumer products and efforts will be made to ensure that the products used in the daily life will be made available to the people through fair price shops. He said that these products will be made available to consumers in phases of all the fair prices employed in a phased manner.

All the formalities will be completed soon: Minister

The minister said that after proper study of mandis due to fluctuations in the prices of food items in the market, especially pulses, rice and flour, the tender will be available every month.

Giving necessary guidelines in this regard to the officers of the Civil Supply Corporation, he said that by the end of February, all the formalities will be completed soon to make the availability of Patanjali products viable.

The Food Minister said that the agreement on the quality of each item or food can not be compromised. There will be special care of this. SS Guleria, Managing Director of State Civil Supplies Corporation, apprised the Minister about the efforts being made in connection with procurement of Patanjali products.
